The Hokianga Community Drawing Project used the creative agency of collective drawing to explore with communities how the Hokianga is being affected by the climate crisis.

Stormy Weather (MP4 4:07min) is a film poem conveying the domestic experience of an extreme weather event on 14th February 2023, as Cyclone Gabrielle tracked across North Island, New Zealand. Pause to reflect on human behaviour, nature and weather at a time of climate change.

Blue Radius was a curated, collaborative exploration of the ecological emergencies taking place along Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) coastlines, involving sea level rise and the ways in which we damage local marine ecology through ongoing extractive practices, from the mining of coastal sand for construction to permits for marina building on fragile sites.

Meeting Ground was a project to record and communicate the embodied knowledge of islanders in the Outer Hebrides (UK) who participated in climate change actions through local food growing hubs to establish engagement with the contemporary ecological crisis in a reciprocally beneficial way

Re-Generation video project presents a Māori-led approach to inspiring and educating volunteers in regenerative planting practices in the effort to redress environmental balance to the Kākā Reserve in Auckland Aotearoa New Zealand.

Sewing Wildflowers was a fun, creative planting project for GROW WILD UK. A community sewing project created a floral banner and a series of botanical art classes and citizen science activities were used to engage and develop awareness of the importance of wildflowers.

Uist Growers Almanac: the natural way to grow is a horticultural publication that shares the rich resource of local knowledge and skills on growing fruit and vegetables successfully in the challenging and wild landscape of the islands of the Uists and Benbecula, Outer Hebrides.

Tha mi a bruadair | I am dreaming was a video project devised in collaboration with Shweta Bhattad’s ‘I Have a Dream’ Global Art, Farming and Peace Project. It was exhibited during COP21 at ArtCop21 ‘Faith in Paris’ Raising Farmers’ Voices in Paris. The video captures valuable intergenerational teaching by local crofters delivering a Crofting Course as part of the high school curriculum  in the Outer Hebrides (UK).

Machair Art was a cultural programme to revitalise island youths' engagement with crofting. Co-designed and co-led by  artists, Laura Donkers and Olwen Shone, Machair Art delivered the community engagement aspect of Conserving Scottish Machair LIFE+ Project.
