I collaborate with organisations through my not-for-profit creative agency Limen Lab - creative encounters in nature, to run creative workshops that help people get closer to their environments and create artworks that bring the feeling of ‘being in nature’ back home. Outdoor drawing using the frottage technique

In this workshop you will:

learn about local ecology
practice a new drawing technique, such as frottage

Tactile drawing methods, such as frottage (aka rubbings), can help individuals without art training to physically learn from and engage with the environment in an easy to do art-making processes. No experience is necessary. All guidance and materials are provided.

Botanical monoprinting

This creative workshop uses a process of Monotype printing - where one print is made at a time. No prior experience is necessary. In this workshop:

a botanical expert guides us through the bush and and identifies important native plants
you will help to gather interesting plant materials
you can try out monotype printing, learn about colour theory and take your finished prints home with you
all materials and guidance are provided

En Plein Air - making art out-of-doors

A 6-week course teaching preparation, exploration and useful methods for working in and setting up a temporary studio out-of-doors. This course is for those whith some art experience and covers preparation of an outdoor studio, developing different painting and drawing methods, and exploring the space to successfully work outside in the environment.
